The Newnan-Coweta Board of REALTORS® hosts the annual Gabe Long Memorial Golf Tournament to fund scholarships for local high school seniors. Gabe Long was a local REALTOR® who passed away several years ago – the golf tournament is held in his honor.

Each year, the Gabe Long Memorial Scholarship Fund awards a total of six $1000 scholarships. Two high school seniors are selected from each high school in the Coweta County school district to be awarded the scholarship – East Coweta High, Northgate High, and Newnan High.

Starting in 2025 the Scholarship Fund will also award two $1000
scholarships to high school seniors attending a private, homeschool, or
online school.
