The Newnan-Coweta Board is committed to the professional development of our REALTORS® by offering a variety of continuing education classes 2-3 times each month. These classes are designed to enhance your skills, keep you updated with the latest industry trends, and ensure you provide the highest level of service to your clients.

As a member of the board, it is mandatory to complete 3 hours of training on the Code of Ethics every three-year cycle, in accordance with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requirements. This training is essential for maintaining the integrity and professionalism of our industry. We are currently in Cycle 7, meaning all agents must complete their training between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2024. Failure to complete the training during this time could result in termination of their REALTOR® membership, per NAR’s policy.

Starting next year, REALTORS® will also be required to take 3 hours of Fair Housing training, which will follow the same cycle as the Code of Ethics training. This new requirement underscores our commitment to fostering an inclusive and fair housing market. More information on this upcoming requirement will be provided soon.

Our continuing education classes cover a broad range of topics, including legal updates, technology advancements, marketing strategies, and more. These sessions are not only a requirement but also an opportunity to network with peers, share knowledge, and stay ahead in a competitive market. We encourage all members to take full advantage of these educational opportunities to ensure their practices remain ethical, efficient, and effective.

Please note that we do not track other classes besides the Code of Ethics training.
