Pre-License Info
Pre-license coursework includes everything you need to know to pass the test the first time, plus the strategies you’ll need – like lead generation – to start your career as soon as you’re licensed.
Here’s what you need to qualify:
- 18 years of age
- Resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a non-resident license
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license course at an approved school
- Pass the state real estate examination
- Obtain a criminal history report from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI)

Pre-License Courses
Post-License Info
Newly licensed salespersons must complete the 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course in their first year of licensure. The 25-hour post-licensing course also counts as 9 hours towards fulfulling the continuing education requirement. There is an exam at the end of the course that must be passed with a 75% and must be proctored.
